Demonstrating the Business Case for D&I: Stories from Asia

Ongoing research of Community Business' Diversity & Inclusion in Asia Network (DIAN)

About the Research

In this research we will:

         Examine the business drivers for addressing diversity and inclusion in specific markets in Asia;

         Showcase examples of compelling business case stories from the Asia region that demonstrate impact;

         Help companies to quantify and articulate the business impact with reference to specific measures; and

         Give companies the framework and components they need to help build their own business case in different markets in Asia.

This research is being conducted with the support and active participation of Community Businessí DIAN member companies and involves a multi-pronged approach:

Business Case Stories Campaign where companies are encouraged to nominate their compelling business case stories from different markets in Asia.  The most compelling stories with measurable impact to be selected and featured in the final publication.

A series of Building the Business Case for D&I Workshops with business managers and HR professionals in four markets across Asia: China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore to explore the business drivers for addressing diversity and inclusion at a local level.

Expert Interviews
with individuals who have a sound knowledge of the local market drivers and have worked directly with companies on their diversity and inclusion strategies in the region.
