Introduction

With sponsorship from Goldman Sachs and IBM, Community Business is producing an LGBT Resource Guide to help companies create inclusive workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees in Hong Kong. In addition to showcasing best practice, this guide will provide a set of recommendations on what companies can do.

Community Business is already collaborating and consulting with the leading organisations in the field of sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace around the world, including Out & Equal and Human Rights Campaign Foundation in the US and Tongzhi Community Joint Meeting (TCJM) in Hong Kong - as well as other local experts.

To ensure that the recommendations are both realistic and appropriate for Hong Kong, Community Business is also looking to engage with LGBT employees and their workplace allies in Hong Kong. We invite you to share your views by completing this anonymous online survey.

Confidentiality

Please note that this is an anonymous survey and at no point will you be asked to provide your name or the name of your company. We promise to protect your privacy and respect the confidentiality of your data. The collective results from this survey will be used to make some general observations about issues relating to LGBT employees in Hong Kong and will be used to inform the compilation of the LGBT Resource Guide. This survey is not designed to be a ‘statistically representative’ survey of the whole LGBT community in Hong Kong.
