2021 Asia Employee Wellbeing Awards

SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing

 

Introduced for the first time this year, Community Business’ 2021 Asia Employee Wellbeing Awards are designed to celebrate the promotion of employee wellbeing in the workplace in Asia by uncovering and putting the spotlight on strategic and proactive approaches in the region.

Award Categories

We are offering four Award categories, aligned to the four focus areas of our employee wellbeing work at Community Business:

 

 

Work-Life Harmony Award sponsored by Northern Trust

To recognise a company that has adopted a strategic and proactive approach to promoting the work-life harmony* of its employees in Asia.    *This relates to initiatives that companies have in place to empower and support employees to manage their personal and professional lives.

 

Physical Wellbeing Award

To recognise a company that has adopted a strategic and proactive approach to promoting the physical wellbeing of employees in Asia.

 

Emotional Wellbeing Award

To recognise a company that has adopted a strategic and proactive approach to promoting the emotional wellbeing of employees in Asia.    *This may include targeted initiatives that companies have in place to promote happiness, resilience, mental health and/or spiritual wellbeing in the workplace.

 

Financial Wellbeing Award

To recognise a company that has adopted a strategic and proactive approach to promoting the financial wellbeing of employees in Asia.

 

Eligibility

The 2021 Asia Employee Wellbeing Awards are open to all companies with a commitment to ensuring employee wellbeing in Asia. Nominations should relate to activities taking place in one or more of the following markets in Asia: China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Philippines and Singapore, between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020.
 

 

Nomination and Assessment Process

Launched during 2020 Asia Employee Wellbeing Week, these new 2021 Asia Employee Wellbeing Awards are open for nominations from Monday 5 October 2020 until Friday 15 January 2021. Award nominations can be made online via our dedicated Awards Platform

All Award Nominations will be reviewed by senior representatives of Community Business. To ensure credibility and objectivity, shortlisted candidates (Finalists) will be invited to present to a Judging Panel, comprising at least one external judge – an expert in the field of employee wellbeing.

 

Assessment Criteria

Award nominations will be assessed based on the following assessment criteria:

 

 

 

Judging Panel

All Award Nominations will be reviewed by senior representatives of Community Business. To ensure credibility and objectivity, shortlisted candidates (Finalists) will be invited to present to a Judging Panel, comprising at least 1 external judge – an expert in the field of employee wellbeing.

Virtual Awards Ceremony

The winner of each Award will be announced at the 2021 Asia Employee Wellbeing Virtual Awards Ceremony taking place on Friday 19 March 2021 ahead of International Day of Happiness. We encourage you to mark your calendar and look out for further communications.

Sponsorship

Community Business is currently looking for a number of Strategic Partners to support our work in employee wellbeing. This Strategic Partnership includes sponsorship of an Award.

Sponsorship of an Award offers a number of high profile benefits, including:
