This is a new role, based in Bangalore, and is ideally suited for a person who is self-motivated and passionate about impacting positive change. 

POSITION OF PROGRAMME ASSOCIATE 

Community Business, the leading organisation committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in companies across Asia, is looking for a Programme Associate to join our team in India. This is a new role, based in Bangalore, and is ideally suited for a person who is self-motivated and passionate about impacting positive change. 

 

This full-time role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: 

  • Contributing to the development and execution of Community Business’ campaigns, events, and consulting and training, and maintaining our position as a thought leader. This includes: 

  • Project management. 

  • Development and Delivery of content to build credibility as a subject matter expert. 

  • Preparation of presentation materials and content. 

  • Drafting of newsletters and communications. 

  • Planning, executing, and supporting launches, media briefings, events, workshops and seminars. 

  • Engaging with and coordination of various parties including clients, other teams, partners, and vendors. 

  • Updating and maintaining key client databases to ensure relationship tracking. 

  • Networking and building relationships with key partners in the field locally, regionally and internationally. 

  • Supporting in building the business pipeline   

  • Providing administrative support. 

 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes: 

  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably in a related field. 

  • Passion for the subject of DE&I with a keen interest to learn and develop subject matter expertise in these areas. 

  • Good organisational, project and event management skills, with the ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and different priorities concurrently. 

  • Strong English language skills - both written and verbal.  

  • Creative-thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently. 

  • Open to learning and developing new skills.  

  • Resilient, adaptable, and enjoys working in a dynamic, stimulating and fast-moving environment. 

  • A good team player who enjoys working in a multicultural working environment. 

  • Confidence to communicate and interact with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. 

  • Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations would be an advantage. 

  • High proficiency in usage of software, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and being comfortable in using MS Teams and Zoom platforms. 

 

Salary 

The salary will be commensurate with the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
