POSITION OF PROGRAMME ASSOCIATE, INDIA

Community Business Limited (“CBL”), the leading not-for-profit organisation advancing responsible and inclusive business practices in Asia, is looking for a Programme Associate for our subsidiary in India, Community Business (India) Private Limited (“CBIPL”).

This position will be based in Bengaluru (Bangalore) and is suited to a professional who is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workplaces in Asia, particularly in India.

 

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time role reporting to the Country Head of India. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

· Contributing to the development and execution of Community Business’ programmes, campaigns as well as pioneering research projects in India, and maintaining our position as a thought leader. This includes:

o Project management;

o Conducting background research, benchmarking with other markets, proposing ideas, and providing administrative support to research and analysis process;

o Developing content expertise to build credibility as a subject matter expert;

o Preparation of presentation materials and content;

o Drafting of newsletters and communications;

o Planning, executing, and supporting launches, media briefings, events, workshops and seminars;

o Engaging with and coordination of various parties including clients, other teams, partners, and vendors;

o Updating and maintaining key client databases to ensure relationship tracking;

o Networking and building relationships with key partners in the field locally, regionally and internationally;

o Supporting and collaborating on video content creation and management;

o Providing administrative support.

 

Selection Criteria

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

· Degree holder or equivalent, preferably in a related field.

· Passion for the subject of Diversity & Inclusion with a keen interest to learn and develop subject matter expertise in these areas.

· Good organisational, project and event management skills, with the ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and different priorities concurrently.

· Strong English language skills - both written and verbal.

· Analytical and can work with data for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

· Strong attention to detail - experience with proof-reading and reviewing an advantage.

· Thinks creatively and has good problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated, with ability to work independently.

· Resilient, adaptable, and enjoys working in a dynamic, stimulating and fast-moving environment.

· A good team player who enjoys working in a multicultural working environment.

· Confidence to communicate and interact with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations would be an advantage.

· Experience of working in the corporate sector would be an advantage.

· Has a high degree of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Salary

The salary will be commensurate with the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
