2021 Emotional Wellbeing LIVE! Day
In this third in a series of LIVE! Days for 2021, and in celebration of World Mental Health Day, we bring you a programme of webinars exploring the role of companies in promoting and supporting the emotional wellbeing of their employees.
The concept of employee wellbeing has evolved in recent years. Beyond a pure focus on work-life balance, it requires a more holistic approach that encompasses a focus on work-life harmony, physical wellbeing, emotional wellbeing, and financial wellbeing.

Emotional Wellbeing LIVE! Day
In this third in a series of LIVE! Days for 2021, and in celebration of World Mental Health Day, we explore the role of companies in promoting and supporting the emotional wellbeing of their employees in Asia.
Emotional Wellbeing is about encouraging employees to be mindful of their emotional and mental state. Only by nurturing positive mental health and building resilience are employees able to deal with the daily stresses of life and function at their best.

Dr Aishwarya Pethe Kulkarni
She has completed her Doctorate training at University of East London, London and has worked across several adult mental health settings, forensic mental health, young people’s health settings, sexual health and learning disabilities. Her practice is informed by an integrative framework and her therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and therapies that fall under the CBT umbrella, Systemic and Narrative approaches, Third Wave approaches including Mindfulness based therapies. Her areas of interest include working with mood disorders, health related behaviour change, personality disorders, trauma, psychosis and other severe and enduring mental health difficulties. She also has a keen interest in the scalability of psychological services for the hard-to-reach populations.

As a counsellor, Kim utilizes an integrative approach with individuals and couples on a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, workplace challenges, and career and life transitions. She also conducts seminars on mental health awareness, positive psychology and well-being.
Prior to BCG, Triston received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. While at HBS, Triston also worked as a Research Associate for HBS' Head of Research to design a second year MBA course called "Crafting Your Life." 150 second-year MBAs at HBS have enrolled in this course since it was launched in the Fall of 2019.
Prior to HBS, Triston served as an Associate on Morgan Stanley’s Multicultural Client Strategy Team, where he assisted a Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor in strengthening relationships with Asian, Black and Hispanic clients across all the Firm’s revenue generating divisions. Prior to joining this team, Triston worked within Investment Banking and Sales & Trading.
Triston holds a Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Finance, Legal Studies and Business Ethics from Wharton. He was one of four students in his graduating class of approximately 2,500 to be recognized by the University President for having positively impacted Penn’s campus.
In 2012, Triston founded a professional development speaker series in NYC called Navigating Corporate America. Through this initiative, he has reached 5,000+ college students and young professionals across 200+ professional development events. Today, Triston organizes monthly online professional development events which he makes available to each person within his personal and professional networks. He is also active with two nonprofit organizations, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and Sponsorship for Educational Opportunity (SEO), which enable underrepresented minorities to maximize their professional success, positioning them to meaningfully give back and serve their communities.

Prior to joining Community Business, Vivian was a seasoned learning consultant in a diverse multinational bank, partnering with different levels of stakeholders to lead and execute the people development agenda in the Asia Pacific region. She has had extensive experience in the design, implementation and roll out of management development initiatives, ensuring solutions were relevant to local needs while aligning to global strategies.
Vivian is a change agent who is committed in helping underrepresented groups feel heard and valued for who they are. Deeply passionate about D&I, she facilitates weekly meetings for people suffering with mental health issues to engage in dialogues in a psychological safe space. She also blogs weekly on LinkedIn under #thisisme, raising awareness and normalising conversations around mental health.
A graduate of University of British Columbia in Canada, Vivian holds a Bachelor degree of Arts in Asian Studies. She is fluent in Cantonese, English and some Mandarin.
