Meeting Topics:

Day 1: Tuesday, 17 April 2018, 9am - 5.30pm

Theme: Getting to the Heart of Gender Inequality

Current global public discourse – including heated debate on the Gender Pay Gap and shocking revelations of the #MeToo Campaign – highlight that, despite our best efforts, gender inequality remains a very real issue in our workplaces. On Day 1, we examine these issues from an Asian perspective and seek to understand not only the underlying issues that are preventing real progress, but also what is an appropriate corporate response.

Day 2: Wednesday, 18 April 2018, 9am - 5pm + Networking (5pm-6.30pm)

Theme: Designing to Overcome Exclusion

When it comes to workplace inequality, gender inequality is just one dynamic at play. Creating truly inclusive workplaces requires an honest look at the root causes of inequality and how they affect each and every one of us. On Day 2, we are delighted to be joined by Fearless Futures from the UK an organisation in the UK that engages people in critical thought to understand and challenge the root causes of inequalities and grow powerful new ways of leading transformative change. For more information see: www.fearlessfutures.org. Together, we will we unpack the dynamics of power and privilege, discuss why intersectionality matters and seek a solutions approach by embracing the concept of designing for inclusion.
