Description

With heightened awareness of deep sources of inequality, whether it be on the grounds of gender, culture, caste, sexual orientation or any other dimension of diversity, there is growing pressure for those in a position of relative privilege to not merely be supporters, but active allies of greater inclusion. This goes beyond well-meaning but passive support, to a readiness to challenge and callout discrimination and bias wherever it occurs, facilitating positive change. In this DIAN India Meeting, we explore the call to be active allies, what this can lookt in the Indian workplace, the skillsets required and how engaging all employees in this endeavour creates the path to a more equitable and inclusive culture.
