Step into the shoes of a refugee to understand what forced displacement really means
Since 2016, more than 4 million people have fled the civil war in Syria to refugee camps in neighbouring countries. Worldwide, more than 60 million people are displaced – more than at any other time on record.
But what does it really mean to be a refugee?
Participate in this simulation and step into the shoes of a refugee. By joining this session you will gain a profound understanding of forced displacement when home is no longer safe, an insight into disempowerment when one’s future is in others’ hands, and further understand the deepened suffering when human rights are not protected.
Who should attend:
Young professionals, social entrepreneurs, students or other employees passionate about CSR.
