Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer as a member of the Executive Leadership team, contributes to the overall strategic direction and sustainability of Community Business as a not-for-profit organisation. Responsibilities include executive leadership of all operational functions including Marketing and Communications, Change Management and HR, Employee Engagement & Culture, Finance, Legal and Compliance, Technology and Infrastructure. In addition she has leadership oversight of our number of our key programs including Gender, LGBT+ and Employee Wellbeing.
Prior to joining Community Business Janet has built a successful career as a senior leader most recently with Telstra International in Hong Kong, covering a broad range of disciplines and functions including strategic business planning and performance, programme management and delivery, corporate governance, change management, organisational effectiveness and talent development. She also has experience in the Travel, Tourism, Training and Hospitality sectors. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Janet and her husband call Hong Kong home.
Janet believes organisation is only as strong as its people. She has helped teams get where they want to be by working with people, opening channels of communication, developing and retaining the right talent and ensuring an inclusive environment where creativity and collaboration can thrive.
With over 35 years work experience Janet is continuing her learning by undergoing study towards a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences through Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an alumni of The Women's Foundation Mentoring Program.

Sandhya Manoj
Country Head, India
Ms. Sandhya Manoj is responsible for Community Business’ overall business strategy in India, with a mission to lead, inspire and support organisations and individuals to bring about positive impact and social change. The role is also to reinforce Community Business’s position as a leader in responsible and inclusive business practices and differentiate our offering, particularly in the areas of diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing.
Prior to Community Business, Sandhya worked as CEO of Foundation For Excellence India Trust, an NGO and was responsible for all aspects of the Trust’s operations in India, in addition to providing support to FFE-USA in certain areas. Her role was to guide overall strategy, finance, people development, new initiatives, and donor management.
With experience of more than 30 years, Sandhya has worked both in large corporations, not for profit (NGO) and start-ups in the areas of sales, operations, HR, training and general management. She has built processes, worked with diverse teams, created organisation structures, work flow processes across departments besides creating a remote mentoring platform. In her earlier stint as founder of Teamworx Consulting, she was involved in hiring of senior talent and mentoring them. She has also worked as a consultant HR head to a VC firm, where she was involved with APD (Association of People with Disability), creating training modules leading to employment. She was also a highly successful sales manager for Monster.com in the earlier stages of her career.
Sandhya is a certified trainer and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certified by the International Coach Federation. She is passionate about people development and has mentored or coached a number of youngsters. As a trained advanced facilitator, she has also been involved in building teams, especially with focus on customer orientation, bringing value to client organisations.

Dimuthu de Silva
Head of Consulting & Training
Dimuthu de Silva is the Head of Consulting & Training at Community Business. He is responsible for consulting, training design and delivery, client relationship management and the daily operations of the C&T team.
Prior to joining Community Business, Dimuthu was a consultant in Learning & Development and HR, with over 12 years in banking, financial technology, KPO and BPO, hotels & tourism and education industries. He has experience in end-to-end learning design and delivery, HR systems delivery, general consultancy and policy development around people, culture and organisational development. He is also an active researcher in social inclusion, representation and participation of marginalised communities and speaks at conferences and forums frequently. Dimuthu was born and raised in Sri Lanka and completed his higher education in Malaysia. He has worked in Sri Lanka and the South Asian and APAC region on assignments. He has been passionate about diversity and inclusion from a young age, as well as early career years at HSBC, with Employee Resource groups and D&I initiatives.
Dimuthu has an MBA in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University, MSc in International Development Management from University of Nottingham and also, a certified TESOL/TEFL trainer. He is also an accredited DiSC trainer from Wiley and Sons, USA. He is a member of and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM – SCP), USA and also an Associate Member of Association of Human Resource Professionals (AHRP), Sri Lanka. Dimuthu is fluent in English and Sinhala.

Emily Moss
Head of Social Impact
Emily is Head of Social Impact at Community Business. She is responsible for driving and developing strategy around community impact: how the organisation is perceived in and engaging with current thought leadership and market trends in CSR, DE&I and Employee Wellbeing. Emily oversees the Marketing & Communications, Research and Events teams at Community Business.
Emily began her career in London at a boutique international development consultancy that partners with global NGOs and government agencies to establish development strategies, and monitor projects across the world. Prior to joining Community Business, Emily worked at a global advertising agency in both Shanghai and HK, managing international banking and entertainment accounts. She has also worked at an NGO in Hong Kong, focusing on donor development and major fundraising initiatives.
A graduate of Bristol University and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, Emily holds a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict & Development. She is native in English.
DIAN
Janelle Mims
Head of Diversity & Inclusion in Asia Network (DIAN)
Janelle Mims is the Head of DIAN at Community Business. She is responsible for the strategy, design and delivery of events, written content and other programming that align the priorities and needs of our DIAN members.
Janelle comes from a background in learning & development in the hospitality industry beginning in the US and continuing in Hong Kong. Prior to Community Business she was the Director of Talent & Performance for a lifestyle concierge service; her passion for people and the overall employee experience allowed her to contribute to several employee wellness programs as well as help launch their global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council and several regional initiatives.
Janelle holds bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications with a focus on Electronic Media, and Theatre Performance. She is native in English, and intermediate in Spanish. She uses she/her.

Aparna Banerji
Senior Manager, Business Development
Aparna is Senior Manager of Business Development. She is mainly responsible for business development and strategy of networks, research, programmes and training and consulting. Aparna has worked with a range of MNCs in Hong Kong, India and Southeast Asia, across the consulting services and not-for-profit sectors. In her previous role at Community Business, Aparna co-authored several of our publications including Women on Corporate Boards 2010, Bringing Out the Best in Asian Talent 2011, Creating Inclusive Workplaces for LGBT Employees in India – A Resource Guide for Employers 2012. She is also a regular speaker and contributor at various Diversity and Inclusion events and forums around the Asian region.
A graduate of University of Mumbai, India, Aparna holds a Bachelor degree of Commerce and Economics. She is fluent in English.

Moneesha Shrivastav
Senior Programme Manager, India
Moneesha is the Senior Programme Manager, India at Community Business. She is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, programmes and projects in India.
Moneesha is a technical graduate with an MBA from Symbiosis and Psychology and a Certified D&I and a POSH trainer. She brings 14 years of diverse experience in project management, strategic planning, business development, operations and relationship management with B2B, B2C, state and central Government and Academia in India. As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lead, Moneesha has worked closely on the defining regional DEI messaging, best practices and ensure alignment with corporates. She has experience partnering with employer brand marketing to amplify the DEI strategy and initiatives, promote DEI thought leadership and ran campaigns to attract diverse talent.
She has also conceptualised and worked on strategic planning for successful implementation and adoption technology specific learning development program at university level through launch of the FDP programs across state level.

Chris Mack
Programme Manager, Employee Wellbeing
Chris is the Programme Manager at Community Business, managing our Wellbeing portfolio. He is in charge of creating a holistic wellbeing offering for our clients with a focus on solutions that are created with the 'Whole Person' Model in mind. Through his work, the programme will identify wellbeing priorities for clients and align them with ESG and United Nations Sustainability Development Goals to ensure greater impact.
Prior to Community Business, Chris worked as a Senior Practitioner and Team Leader at an online mental health service that focused on building and managing a team of mental health practitioners who are responsible for supporting clients all over the UK. He has also spent the last 10 years working and training within the mental health sector working with local government in the UK to further develop support for young people. Chris has also worked in non-profit organisations focusing on building small to medium size enterprises, helping many business owners improve their workforce and achieve their business goals.
Chris has a Masters in Psychology and specialises in Behaviour Change with a specific focus on Motivational Interviewing and Functional Imagery Training. Chris is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, the first responder in the workplace to any mental health needs as well as a Level 4 Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) responsible for working collaboratively with practitioners to ensure risk and safeguarding procedures are followed. He has also worked at the standard of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 in Leadership and Management from his time in the British Army. Chris’s pronouns are He/Him.
LGBT+
Chris Ng
Programme Manager, LGBT+
Chris Ng is the Programme Manager for the LGBT+ programme at Community Business. He is responsible for taking the leading Community Business’ LGBT+ Campaign and managing activities relating to the programme. As the content expert on LGBT+ issues in Asia, Chris also provides consulting and training on LGBT+ inclusion related topics.
Prior to Community Business, Chris served as the client service officer at a private mental health clinic at Kuala Lumpur which inspired him to focus on the mental health of LGBT+ during the COVID-19 pandemic in his undergraduate thesis which explored how increasing social support and mental resilience of sexual minorities promotes better mental health and reduces depression. He presented his findings at the 5th China International Conference on Positive Psychology organised by Tsing Hua University. His master’s research focused on the “Roof” Project in Malaysia to create a centre for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I).
Chris has 5 years of experience volunteering as a minister in LGBT+ affirming churches and Christian NGOs in Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. He also leads support groups, engages in interfaith dialogue and facilitates workshops and training. He provides guidance around the topic of reconciling faith with sexuality and strives to tackle inequality and promote diversity and inclusion among spiritual communities, as well as encourage spiritual and mental wellbeing in the community.
Chris holds a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Southwest University of Science and Technology. Chris is a proud Malaysian based in Hong Kong who is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay. Chris uses he/they pronouns.

Eliana Lam
Programme Manager, Events
Eliana is the Events Manager, based in Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for managing both internal and external events. She is also the project manager for the brand new 2022 Community Business Awards.
Prior to joining Community Business, Eliana worked at an IT company, assisting in event management and copywriting. She also worked in an NGO, coordinating workshops and seminars, which help small to medium-sized non-profits grow better in serving the communities. With this work experience, Eliana has developed a strong interest in marketing and communications. She would like to develop her career in related areas and make positive changes to the society.
A graduate of The Open University of Hong Kong, Eliana holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Honours in Professional Accounting. She is native in Cantonese, fluent in Mandarin and English.

Jennifer Maranan
Client Solutions Manager, Consulting & Training
Jennifer Maranan is the Client Solutions Manager of Consulting & Training at Community Business. She is responsible for training design and delivery, and client relationship management.
Prior to Community Business, Jennifer has more than 10 years experience in talent and organisational development. She worked mostly in Thailand and in the Philippines for multinational companies and had responsibilities in in-country and Southeast Asia regional roles. Her core competencies include organisational development, training, recruitment, and HR business partnership. She is an expert in coaching, training program development and management, and career planning. She worked in ALPLA Southeast Asia leading the creation of the Learning Centre, and collaborated with business units from Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam for the learning and development initiatives of the region. She also worked in Jollibee Foods Corporation and led projects related to corporate culture communication, performance management, competency analysis, coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
Jennifer completed a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Labour Economics in Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She is native in Filipino and fluent in English. She lives in Hong Kong but was born in the Philippines. She likes to volunteer in community programs and supports women and children development initiatives.
Operations
Johnny Chan
Operations Manager
Johnny is the Operations Manager, based in Hong Kong. He is mainly responsible for the operations of Community Business including people and talent, technology, systems and processes, and office administration.
Prior to this role, he was the Programme Manager of DIAN, and was responsible for event, project and member management as well as communications of the DIAN network. He also worked for Community Business as an intern when he was a university student, providing support to administration and other teams.
A graduate of Lingnan University in Hong Kong, Johnny holds a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary English Studies. He is native in Cantonese, and fluent in English and Mandarin.
