Operations Associate (HR & Admin)

Community Business, the leading not-for-profit committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in companies across Asia, is looking for an Associate to join our Operations Team. This position is ideally suited for an individual who is passionate about actively interacting with various stakeholders and providing overall business support for our people.

This full-time role, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, contributes to the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our organisation. The person in this position will perform a wide array of HR and business administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

This role includes, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in general HR day-to-day operations, including recruitment, payroll, new hire onboarding and other employee services
  • Support the Senior Operations Manager to update and maintain HR documents and policies
  • Coordinate employee activities, staff training and events
  • Make travel arrangements when necessary (insurance, logistics)
  • Procure office supplies and equipment on a regular basis
  • Liaise with vendors to arrange regular office maintenance services in a timely manner
  • Provide ad-hoc support for other programme teams with their event preparation and execution

Selection Criteria

  • Diploma or above; with relevant experience will be an advantage
  • Self-motivation and capability of multi-tasking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and learning attitude
  • High sense of confidentiality
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese languages
  • Fluency in Microsoft 365
  • Experience in working for a not-for-profit organisation will be a plus
  • Passion towards diversity, equity and inclusion
