Description

Access to mobility is intrinsically linked to equal access to opportunity: the extent to which people have the same chances to do well in life regardless of the socioeconomic background or other circumstances beyond their control.

One’s access to opportunities directly impacts the ability to be socially mobile and vice versa. Social mobility can be measured in terms of earnings, income, or social class, but it can also encompass areas of well-being such as health and education.

Community Business recognises a need to start this conversation to magnify the understanding and movement in social mobility.
