Description

As organisations strive to become more inclusive in their practices and policies, one essential aspect to consider is the accessibility and design of the workspaces. Universal design is a way of designing physical and virtual spaces, to address the inherent diversity of people. An understanding of Universal Design and its importance plays a crucial role in creating flexibility and choice leading to an inclusive culture.

Accessibility audits can provide organisations with the understanding and tools to overcome the barriers to being truly inclusive to persons with disabilities.

Through this expert-led session, we aim to help our member companies streamline their efforts to make their workplace safer, more accessible, and inclusive for employees with disabilities by reflecting on the Universal Design and Accessibility model, as prescribed for India.
