Having gone through a change in leadership at the beginning of this year, Community Business has taken the time to reflect on client feedback and has taken steps to enhance our structure, ensuring that we offer the most efficient and effective interventions to our audience. We used this client feedback to build on the insights and lessons that came about as part of our rebranding process and as a result, we are delighted to announce the creation of two new Director level roles at Community Business:

  • Executive Director, New Business Initiatives & Growth
  • Director of DE&I

Our Country Head for India, Sandhya Manoj, will be promoted into the position of Executive Director, New Business Initiatives and Growth and our current Head of C&T, Dimuthu de Silva, will take up the role of Director of DE&I.

In a bid to better service the intersectional nature of our clients’ evolving DE&I needs, we have brought all our deliverables – including networks, initiatives and C&T - under the leadership of the Director of DE&I and into the newly created DE&I Centre for Excellence at Community Business. By housing all our practical interventions in the Centre for Excellence, we will ensure that our solid track record of Asia-led research and insights underpins and is woven through all the services that we offer. This brings the opportunity to tackle DE&I in a holistic and nuanced way, moving past siloes and vertical-led interventions. Dimuthu brings his success in expanding our C&T department over the last few years, as well as his wealth of knowledge from his work on the corporate side to this role and is strongly positioned to take our practical work to the next level.

In addition to the centralisation of our thought leadership and strategy, we are keen to approach business development and client services in a fresh manner. By creating the role of Executive Director, New Business Initiatives and Growth, we aim to evolve our new business strategy and ensure that we holistically address client needs from the offset. Utilising Sandhya’s vast experience both in her current role and in roles before Community Business, we are excited to see Sandhya apply the success she has had with the India team in evolving working practices and role out process driven and streamlined client interactions across the region. These two positions complement each other and will work in synergy to give a seamless, needs-based approach to our work.
