2020 International Women's Day Toolkit (Regional Version)

International Women's Day, celebrated globally on 8 March, highlights the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This day is all about unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.

To help colleagues at your organisation celebrate this important day, we have put together an International Women's Day Toolkit. The Toolkit is packed with resources and ideas to support companies in planning activities and raising awareness to promote the advancement of women.  In the Toolkit, we have included both virtual and in-person ideas, as we recognize that organisations may be running global and regional campaigns, and would also like to reach out to colleagues who may be working flexibly. 

We encourage all organisations to celebrate International Women's Day, but also to use this occasion to amplify the importance of gender equality and to galvanise action throughout the year.
